What do I need to book a car with 2TA LOGISTICS?

To reserve a car through 2TA Logistics, you need to establish an account with our affiliated partner, Turo, in Canada. You must also be at least 23 years old with a valid driver's license and receive approval to drive with Turo. When booking your initial trip, you'll undergo a brief approval process, providing your driver's license and other necessary information. Typically, approval is immediate, granting you access for all future road trips, business travels, and family vacations!

Do I need my own Insurance?

When you reserve a car through our partner Turo in Canada, you won't require personal insurance. It's essential to note that any existing personal insurance covering damage to the host's vehicle takes precedence over your Turo protection plan, except when opting for the premier plan.

When booking a car with Turo, you'll have the option to select from three protection plans: premier, standard, or minimum, tailored to your needs. Regardless of the plan chosen, you'll be covered by up to $2,000,000 in third-party automobile liability insurance. This coverage is provided under a policy issued to Turo by Economical in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, and Nova Scotia, and by ICBC (Insurance Corporation of British Columbia) in BC.

Do I need a Canadian license to drive in Canada?

No, possessing a Canadian license is not a prerequisite for booking a car in Canada. However, you must hold a valid driver’s license, and in most cases, international driver’s licenses are accepted in the US, Canada, and the UK.

Can other people drive a 2talogistics car that I booked?

Yes, you can have multiple drivers for the car you book on Turo, provided they are all approved to drive. The primary driver (the person who booked the car) has the option to add additional drivers at no extra cost. Only the primary driver can initiate the request to add drivers; Turo hosts are unable to do so on your behalf. We recommend requesting to add additional drivers before your trip begins. However, guests in the US and Canada can request to add a driver while a trip is already in progress.

To expedite the process, we suggest having your additional driver create an account with our partner Turo and obtain approval to drive before making the request to add them. All drivers must possess a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements specified for the booked car. You can request to add drivers through the “Trips” tab in the Turo app without incurring any additional charges.
